It’s always a special time when some of South Carolina’s brightest minds gather in one place, but an Oct. 4 ceremony just off Lake Hartwell was especially notable for the Clemson University College of Engineering, Computing and Applied Sciences.

Eight faculty members received awards and several others were recognized for tenure, promotions and other achievements. Family, friends, colleagues and other supporters turned out to cheer the award winners.

This year's faculty award winners are (from left, clockwise): Chris Norfolk, Brian Malloy, Fei Peng, Srikanth Pilla, Rodrigo Martinez-Duarte, Mark Blenner and John Saylor.
