Business and science are joining forces at Clemson University to satisfy a marketplace appetite for business professionals who are capable of analyzing and applying big data to their strategic decision-making. Beginning in July, the College of Business and College of Science are collaborating to offer a Master of Science in Data Science and Analytics. The degree will be offered totally online and will cater to working professionals.
Clemson University has taken another significant step in its growth as a leading national research university by creating the Office of Research Development in the Division of Research. The goals of the new office are to increase the number of large, multi-department, multi-institutional grants valued at $2 million and more and to help faculty attain select research development activities, such as federal CAREER awards.
The Annexstad family established the Annexstad Family Foundation Scholarship in 2000 to help deserving students, specifically those who have overcome extraordinary hardships, achieve a college degree. The Clemson partnership was established in 2015, and in fall 2016, the first scholarship was awarded to a Tiger who is now one step closer to achieving his medical dream.
