Provost’s Caregiving Taskforce announces free tutoring for children of employees
In response to the overwhelming needs of our faculty and staff with children at home in full or part-time virtual learning, the Provost’s Caregiving Taskforce is pleased to announce the Clemson University Virtual Tutor Corps.
The Clemson University Virtual Tutor Corp will provide employee parents with free online tutoring for their school-aged (5-16 years) children and provide educational and leadership opportunities for Clemson undergraduates who qualify for Federal Work Study to serve as virtual tutors in spring 2021.
Apply now. Tutors will be assigned on a first-come, first-served basis. Applications received on or before Friday, January 22, 2021 will receive first consideration.
How to Apply for a CU Virtual Tutor Corps tutor
- Complete this Google form: https://forms.gle/toh1tLLyBcKzX5xM9.
- Submit one request per child. The request may include multiple tutors to accommodate all school-aged children in their home. To the extent possible, tutors will be assigned in accordance with the grade/subject areas listed in the request for to best match tutor academic expertise with individual children’s needs.
- Complete and send in the consent form.
