The Ten Tenors bring nostalgic tunes to Brooks Center
CLEMSON — The Ten Tenors, one of Australia’s most famous musical exports, will perform “You’ll Never Walk Alone,” “Danny Boy,” “What a Wonderful World” and other fan favorites when the all-male vocal ensemble appears at 8 p.m. Monday, Nov. 9, at the Brooks Center for the Performing Arts.
The Clemson concert is part of The Ten Tenors’ international tour that coincides with the release of the group's newest recording, “Nostalgica.” The CD showcases many of the group’s most-requested concert selections. Among them are “Moon River,” “Swing on a Star” and “Besame Mucho.”
Formed in 1995 by 10 students at the Queensland Conservatorium of Music, the group has produced gold and platinum CDs and DVDs garnered praise from fans and critics alike. The Ten Tenors circle the globe 10 months of the year, performing more than 250 shows on five continents.
