Kuskowski has served as Clemson’s director of university admissions since July 2017 and recently provided leadership as interim associate vice president for enrollment management since the departure of Chuck Knepfle in Sept. 2019.

“Enrollment management is a vitally important tool for providing educational opportunity and meeting the challenges of the future,” said Robert H. Jones, executive vice president for academic affairs and provost at Clemson University. “David has both the skills and experience to lead Clemson’s enrollment strategies and support Clemson’s rise among the ranks of the nation’s most prominent universities.”

A key member of the provost’s leadership team, Kuskowski will direct University Admissions, Student Financial Aid, the Registrar’s Office and the Visitor’s Center. In partnership with Clemson’s seven academic colleges, he will work to ensure the recruitment and retention goals are aligned with the university’s strategic plan, ClemsonForward.

“Clemson students are creating and building experiences of incredible significance, and it has been exciting to be part of a team working to promote and foster their successes.” said Kuskowski. “I am eager to continue our pursuit of even greater opportunities for excellence.”

In his new role, Kuskowski will advise the university’s administration on various national trends, federal and state requirements, and issues facing enrollment in higher education.
