Creed and Staind to rock Littlejohn for Planet Birthday Bash
CLEMSON — Upstate radio station WTPT 93.3 The Planet will host its 11th annual Planet Birthday Bash concert at Clemson University’s Littlejohn Coliseum Tuesday, Oct. 13. The celebration will feature performances by Staind and the recently reunited multi-platinum band Creed, which is on its first tour in five years.
Tickets for the show are on sale now at the Littlejohn Coliseum box office (open 12:15-6 p.m. Monday-Friday), the Hendrix Student Center information desk (open 8 a.m.-6 p.m. Monday-Friday), TicketMaster outlets or online at http://www.ticketmaster.com. Tickets are $25, $45 and $75.
Staind will open the show, performing songs from their six hit albums, which include six top-10 singles and four No. 1 hits. The band’s most recent single, “This is It,” was featured in this summer’s popular action movie “Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen.”
Creed will showcase some new music, including the new single “Overcome” from the soon-to-be released album “Full Circle.” The band also will perform favorites from past hit albums.
Accompanying the live music will be free cake, giveaways and games. WTPT 93.3 The Planet listeners as well as Clemson students can get discounts and opportunities to win special fan experiences.
