Each year, the Clemson Young Alumni Council names 10 alumni to its “Roaring10,” recognizing outstanding young alumni for their influence in business, leadership, community, education and philanthropic endeavors. The honor is given to individuals who exemplify Clemson University’s core values of honesty, integrity and respect and who have graduated from Clemson within the last 10 years.

Tiller graduated from Clemson University in 2010 with a degree in financial management. He is the owner and business development manager of Event Rentals of Anderson. Tiller is also the founder and owner of Orange Property Management in Clemson.

In support of the Clemson family, both of Tiller’s businesses focus on employing current students and alumni, including providing employment opportunities for ClemsonLIFE students. Event Rentals provides services for Clemson signature events, including the Clemmy’s, many athletic and academic banquets and, most recently, the National Championship celebrations. His other business, Orange Property Management, is the highest Google-rated property management firm in the area.

Tiller serves at Crosspoint Church as a member of the Financial Controls Team. He is also the chairman of the board of the Foothills Area Fellowship of Christian Athletes. Tiller has been a semi-annual guest speaker for business classes with an emphasis on entrepreneurship. He recently was tapped to lead family business courses at Clemson.

The 2019 Roaring10 class was honored by the Clemson Alumni Association and the Clemson Young Alumni Council at a ceremony on Oct. 11 at the Madren Conference Center on Clemson’s campus.

The Roaring10 award program was developed in 2012 by the Clemson Young Alumni Council. The primary mission of Clemson Young Alumni Council is to support the goals of the Clemson Alumni Association specifically on matters pertaining to young alumni. Clemson Young Alumni Council exists to connect young alumni with the university, assist young alumni in the transition from active student to alumnus and to facilitate fellowship, personal growth and professional development opportunities for young alumni and formally represent young alumni interests to the Clemson Alumni Council. The purpose of these efforts is to affect seminal influence on young alumni so they may continue to be connected and contributing alumni for a better Clemson throughout their lives.
