CLEMSON – The Clemson University Libraries will host the annual Library Book Sale from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 25, rain or shine, on the Cooper Library Fountain Plaza. Some 10,000 books (hardcover and paperback), records, magazines and children’s books will be offered, with more than 1,000 vinyl phonograph albums available again this year.

Proceeds from the sale, which is sponsored by the Clemson University Foundation, go to purchase new materials for the Clemson University Libraries.

Hardcover volumes will be $2, as will DVDs, videos, music CDs and records. Paperbacks will be $1 and magazines will be 25 cents. Remaining items will be sold for $5 per box or bag at 3 p.m., and at 5 p.m. all items will be free. Customers may bring their own bags, but cardboard boxes will be made available. Payments may be made by cash, check, TigerStripe or credit cards (Visa and MasterCard only).

Clemson students and employees will have a preview between 9 and 10 a.m. (must present personal Clemson ID to gain entrance), with the public admitted at 10 a.m.
