Fall In Day of Service scheduled for Saturday, Oct. 5
CLEMSON — The fourth annual campuswide day of service is set for Saturday, Oct. 5. Bearing a new name this year (formerly The Big Event), Clemson University’s Fall In Day of Service has attracted nearly 20 community partners to host Clemson students, faculty and staff. The event is a collaboration between Clemson Home, Fraternity and Sorority Life and Student Involvement and Leadership.
“We are excited to once again have a great group of students, faculty and staff sign up to participate in service to several partners in the area,” said Kate Radford, associate director of Student Involvement and Leadership. “Service will run from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. for morning volunteers, and from noon to 5 p.m. for those who want to work in the afternoon. It should be a lot of fun and a great way to come together in support of our greater Clemson community.”
Volunteers can visit the registration page to select from the list of available sites. Those participating this year are:
- Anderson Interfaith Ministries
- Brutontown Community Center
- Camp Spearhead
