Consistent with the University’s ongoing commitment to transparency, updates to the COVID-19 dashboard will now be posted twice each week, rather than weekly. The dashboard will now be updated with the latest data related to COVID-19 testing and student quarantine and isolation space usage each Tuesday and Friday.

Faculty and staff can monitor the COVID-19 Dashboard available on Clemson’s COVID-19 website.

Also available on the dashboard are a Wastewater Dashboard and access to Public South Carolina Data updated by SC DEHEC as well as the Center for Disease Control’s national data.

Updates offered on the COVID-19 dashboard are derived from population surveillance testing, mandatory return-to-campus testing for students and employees, and symptom-based testing. The number of positives represent the total number of positive tests and may not necessarily reflect the total number of confirmed cases due to data collection from multiple sources and small numbers of duplications.

Clemson’s employee and student monitoring testing strategies are based upon epidemiological and statistically supported sampling models for the entire University population. The University’s approach to testing and the COVID-19 dashboard were praised by Dr. Deborah Birx, Public Response Coordinator for the White House Coronavirus Task Force, during her visit to Clemson on September 25.
