CBASS presenter displays her research

CLEMSON – The Clemson Biological Sciences Annual Student Symposium (CBASS), which was to be held Saturday, March 28, has been cancelled.

To participate, please submit a presentation for CBASS 2020, which welcomes all undergrads, graduate students, and postdocs involved in research with a life sciences component. Students do not have to be in biological sciences to participate. CBASS is a cross-disciplinary event that includes all colleges.

The deadline for registration is Friday, March 6, at 11:59 p.m. Register for the poster and/or oral session at gocbass.weebly.com. After registering, you can return to the link and edit your submission at any time before the deadline. If you have any questions, please email the CBASS committee at cbass.committee@gmail.com

The poster session will be held from 10 a.m.-noon in the atrium of the Life Sciences Facility and will highlight research by undergrad and graduate students, postdocs and area high school students.

The lightning talks will be held from 12:30-3:20 p.m. in Jordan G33 and will highlight talk sessions by undergrad and graduate students and postdocs.

Awards for graduate oral, graduate poster, undergrad oral and undergrad poster will be presented after the lightning talks conclude.

CBASS is a research symposium run by students for students. This is the 12th annual symposium.

Posters must be no larger than 3-by-4 feet and can be in either portrait or landscape orientation.

Oral presentations will be done in a “Lightning Talk” format with 5 minutes per talk followed by 2 minutes for questions.
