The inaugural Judith E. Voelkl Memorial Recreational Therapy Workshop will be Monday, March 24, at Clemson University’s Hendrix Student Center. The all-day workshop will feature sessions by some of recreational therapy’s top scholars and cover such topics as adaptive sports programming, compassion fatigue and self-care, the use of fine arts in psychiatric settings, Reiki, standardized quality of life assessments and energy medicine.
