Clemson University employees may now reserve an appointment time for a comprehensive physical exam at the Joseph F. Sullivan Center for dates between June 16 and July 29. The physical is $50, and more than 50 slots are available.

The physical includes a comprehensive health history, a physical exam including vision and hearing testing, blood pressure, urinalysis and hemoglobin, and an assessment of all major systems. Men will receive a prostate exam and women will receive a pelvic exam. A pap test is available at an additional cost.

As part of this promotion, the Sullivan Center is also offering Department of Transportation (DOT) physicals for Clemson employees who may require them. The Sullivan Center employs two certified medical examiners, which are required to conduct a DOT physical. Employees requiring a commercial driver’s license (CDL) periodically require this physical exam.

The Sullivan Center is offering both types of physicals at the Sullivan Center, Clemson Free Clinic and at the Walhalla Clinic. To reserve your appointment slot, call the Sullivan Center at (864) 656-3076.

Located on the first floor of Edwards Hall on the Clemson campus, the Joseph F. Sullivan Center is a nurse-managed health center that provides health services to Clemson employees and community outreach programs to rural and underserved communities and individuals. The Sullivan Center is part of Clemson’s soon-to-be-established College of Behavioral, Social and Health Sciences.
