Editor’s note: This is the first installment in a new series of podcasts entitled “Student Affairs Talk.” In it, Communications Director for Student Affairs Philip Sikes visits with various leaders from the staff and student communities. Chris Fiocchi is entering his fifth year as a member of the Campus Recreation staff at Clemson University, but he is no stranger to the field. He came to Clemson following a seven-year journey at TCU before joining Dave Frock’s staff, creating a reunion with someone he had known from his days as an undergraduate student at James Madison University.

In this week’s podcast, Fiocchi speaks extensively about his ascension up the ladder within Campus Rec, the challenges of meeting high levels of demand for the university’s Intramural and Club Sports programs, progress to the Snow Family Outdoor Fitness and Wellness Center, and the new recreation space coming online soon at Douthit Hills.
