Located on the lower lawn behind the Visitor’s Center and Gift Shop, this event begins at 7 p.m. each Tuesday in October and promises fun, music and craft beers. The lineup for the 2017 Tuesdays Tunes and Tastings includes:

  • Oct. 3 – David Donar Acoustic Blues and Old Time Music. Donar plays the guitar within the Piedmont Blues style that originated in the southeastern region of the United States and learned from some of the greatest old time folk and blues players located in the foothills of Appalachia, S.C.
  • Oct. 10 – Amongst the Trees Duo. This is a trio born from the red clay of Upstate South Carolina and filtered through three collective lifetimes of musical joy and experience. Josh Gibson and B.J. Callahan met at a beer festival in 2016, and discovered a mutual love of The Allman Brothers Band, Led Zeppelin and craft beer. They brought on Callahan’s longtime friend and drummer, Larry Williams and the rest is funky, jammy, grassy history. Original compositions, old traditional tunes, tight harmonies, and a healthy dose of improvisation are at the core of what makes Amongst the Trees a unique voice in the modern music landscape
  • Oct. 17 – Gypsy Sallies. This is an Americana style vocal trio based out of the upstate of South Carolina. They play a wide range of covers from singer/songwriters, as well as originals. Some of their influences are: Emmylou Harris, Bonnie Raitt, Gillian Welch, Mary Chapin Carpenter, Red Molly, Shawn Colvin
  • Oct. 24 –Smithworks. This is an acoustic duo consisting of Rae’ Smith on vocals and Michael Smith on guitar. They perform throughout Upstate South Carolina.
