The Russian State Symphony Orchestra performs with pianist Vladimir Feltsman Tuesday, Nov. 11, at the Brooks Center.

CLEMSON — The 90-piece Russian State Symphony Orchestra will perform with world-renowned pianist Vladimir Feltsman at 8 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 11, at Clemson University’s Brooks Center for the Performing Arts. Tickets are $30 for adults and $15 for students.

The orchestra will perform Tchaikovsky’s Piano Concerto No. 1, Glinka’s “Overture to Ruslan and Lyudmilla” and Rachmaninoff’s Symphony No. 3.

Established in 1957, the Russian State Symphony Orchestra has received worldwide critical acclaim and is currently ranked among the finest symphonic ensembles in Russia. The orchestra has had successful tours in the United States, Great Britain, Switzerland, Germany, Italy and Croatia.

The orchestra will perform with acclaimed pianist Feltsman on Tchaikovsky’s Piano Concerto No. 1. Feltsman has appeared with all the major American orchestras and on the most prestigious musical stages and festivals worldwide.
