CLEMSON — BELLA GAIA, an immersive theater experience that exhibits the deeply moving beauty of planet Earth as seen through the eyes of astronauts, will be presented at 7 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 31, at Clemson's Brooks Center for the Performing Arts.

Started as a collaborative effort with NASA, BELLA GAIA (beautiful Earth) is a multimedia presentation designed to inspire appreciation for Earth and bring attention to the impact of human activity. The show is being presented as part of the Brooks Family Series.

The amazing imagery is accompanied by a live performance from classically trained violinist Kenji Williams and other top world musicians.

Sophisticated scientific data and visualizations from NASA display fires in the Amazon basin and the time-lapse progression of Arctic ice in a way that demonstrates the science behind what makes Earth habitable.

Tickets for BELLA GAIA are $15 for adults and $5 for students and can be purchased online, in person or by phone. Visit www.clemson.edu/Brooks or call the Box Office at 864-656-7787 from 1 to 5 p.m. Monday-Friday for more information.
