Adobe Systems has selected Ryan Visser, a faculty member in Clemson University’s Eugene T. Moore School of Education, to serve a two-year term as an Adobe Education Leader.

CLEMSON — Adobe Systems selected Ryan Visser, a faculty member in Clemson University’s Eugene T. Moore School of Education, to serve a two-year term as an Adobe Education Leader.

As an Adobe Education Leader, Visser will explore innovative educational solutions with the tools and training provided by Adobe Systems. He will provide input through beta programs and focus groups for new Adobe products, help develop standards-based curriculums for classrooms worldwide and share his expertise through workshops and conferences.

Visser was chosen for his effective use of Adobe tools and applications, global-scale innovative work and leadership in improving the classroom teaching/learning experience with creative and collaborative solutions.

Visser is a clinical faculty member with research interests that include investigating the relationship between technology and educational psychology and the impact social media have on education. He also is among those leading the School of Education’s Digital Media and Learning Labs, a space where students, practitioners and faculty gather for research and outreach projects involving digital media technologies.

The Adobe Education Leaders Program highlights the contributions of innovative educators in higher education and K-12 who are effectively using Adobe tools and applications to promote excellence in the classroom. The program provides leadership and professional development to help administrators and faculty think in new and creative ways.
