Clemson horticulture student annual plant sale set for Friday
CLEMSON — The annual Clemson horticulture student plant sale is slated for this Friday, April 7.
Jim Faust, associate professor of plant and environmental sciences, said this year’s sale features a vast array of diverse plants.
“We will have plants to use in landscapes, as well as plants to use in planters and hanging baskets,” Faust said. “We also will have vegetable and herb transplants, and fruits.”
The sale begins at 10 a.m. at the Biosystems Research Complex Greenhouses on the Clemson University campus, 105 Collings St., and continues until all plants are sold. Quantities are limited, so everyone is encouraged to come as early as possible to ensure they get the plants they want, Faust said.
