‘Bring It On: The Musical’ coming to Brooks center; free for Clemson students
CLEMSON — The Brooks Center for the Performing Arts will present “Bring It On: The Musical” at 8 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 28, as part of the Boni Belle Brooks Series.
This is a free performance for Clemson students. To claim their free admission, students should arrive one hour prior to showtime and display their Clemson student IDs. Normal ticket rates are $35 for adults and $15 for students.
“Bring It On: The Musical” is inspired by the “Bring It On” film series. It tells the story of the challenges and unexpected bonds formed through the thrill of extreme competition.
The production ran from August through December of 2012 at the St. James Theatre in New York and earned Tony Award nominations for Best Musical and Best Choreography.
Visitors should arrive early for a special appearance by the Clemson University cheerleading squad.
