Marshall named assistant chair of teaching and learning department
Jeff C. Marshall has been appointed assistant chair of the Department of Teaching and Learning in Clemson University’s Eugene T. Moore School of Education. He will begin service on Jan. 6, 2016.
Marshall is an associate professor in the Eugene T. Moore School of Education and is director of Inquiry in Motion, an institute that facilitates teacher transformation in K-12 mathematics and science classrooms through rigorous and authentic inquiry-based learning experiences.
A Presidential Award for Excellence in Mathematics and Science Teaching recipient, Marshall has published four books and more than 50 articles and given more than 130 presentations in the last decade. He has also served as an external evaluator and educational consultant for school districts, universities and grant projects in 10 states.
Marshall is a graduate of Indiana University, where he received his M.S. and Ph.D in curriculum and instruction.
