Bobbi Curry, grants administrator and manager of the Center for Research and Collaborative Activities at Clemson University, recently completed the Grants Management Certificate Program from Management Concepts.

The program provides comprehensive professional education in the grants field and is designed for employees of organizations that receive federal funds and use those funds to perform programmatic work.

Curry learned new ways to manage awards for compliance as well as strategies for identifying assistance opportunities and submitting applications. She also gained further understanding of federal grant regulations and reporting performance.

Management Concepts is a national provider of professional development, performance improvement and talent management solutions for the public sector. Management Concepts collaborates with federal agencies, state and local government offices, nonprofit organizations, universities and corporations.

The Center for Research and Collaborative Activities facilitates grantsmanship, research and scholarship for Clemson’s College of Health, Education and Human Development (HEHD) and the Eugene T. Moore School of Education. The center is part of the Division of Collaborative Academic Services, which provides support services for HEHD and the School of Education.
