“Eclipse Over Clemson: The day Tigertown will never forget” contains chapters from the University’s scientists, naturalists, psychologists, media relations experts, and even novelists. It also includes a poem – written specifically for this book – by renowned Southern author Ron Rash. And you’ll find more than 100 full-color images of the eclipse and the crowd taken by a team of talented photographers.

It can be purchased at www.clemson.edu/eclipse, as well as on Amazon and Barnes & Noble. The book debuted as a No. 1 best seller in the category of “Celebrations and Events.”

Book signing events are already being planned at several Upstate locations, including the Clemson University Barnes and Noble bookstore (1-3 p.m. on Jan. 24), the Booksmith in Seneca (Jan. 29; time to be announced) and a February appearance at Hub City Press in Spartanburg (time and date to be announced).

A panelist of the book’s authors and photographers will also appear at the Clemson Literary Festival from 4-5:30 p.m. on April 4 in the Hendrix Student Center’s McKissick Theatre.
